Meet Your Downers Grove Dog Walkers
Out-U-Go! Downers Grove is owned and led by Amanda, our Top Dog, who grew up in the area. Heather, our Canine Concierge, has been on the team for more than 10 years. After you send us a note, she’ll reach out, set up a quick virtual meet & greet and help match your pup with the right walker. Together with our crew of local walkers and sitters, we care for pups all over Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Darien, La Grange Park, Lombard, Oak Brook, Oak Brook Terrace, Villa Park, Westchester, Western Springs and Westmont.

FAQ's
What towns do you walk in?
We walk dogs throughout Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Darien, La Grange Park, Lombard, Oak Brook, Oak Brook Terrace, Villa Park, Westchester, Western Springs and Westmont. Farther west, Naperville, Lisle, Woodridge, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn and Aurora are covered by our sister team, Out-U-Go! Naperville.
How do I schedule a visit?
Fill out the short form above to let us know what kind of care you’re looking for. A member of our Downers Grove team will reach out and set up a quick virtual meet & greet to learn about your pup, their routine and your home. From there, we’ll match your pup with the right walker and get your visits on the calendar.
Can I meet my dog walker beforehand?
In most cases, yes. After a quick virtual meet & greet with our Downers Grove team, we’ll match your pup with a walker who fits their personality and routine, and they’ll usually stop by to meet your dog before the first walk. After every visit you’ll get photos and a note, too.
How long are walks?
We offer 25, 35 and 45 minute walks. You can choose whatever feels best for you and your pups.
Will my dog have the same walker every time?
Consistency is a big part of helping pups build a great bond with their regular walker, and that’s always what we aim for. But life happens. People get sick and things come up. That’s exactly why we work as a team: if your pup’s primary walker isn’t available, another teammate who knows your routine can step in.
How much does a dog walker cost in Downers Grove?
Weekly dog walks in Downers Grove start at $25 per visit. Your rate depends on walk length and how often you’d like visits. Fill out the short form above and we’ll send full rates and availability.
Do you walk dogs in the winter?
Yes! Our Downers Grove dog walkers are out year-round, through snowy Chicago-area winters and hot summers. We keep an eye on the weather and adjust each visit to keep your pup safe and comfortable, and we’re happy to put on boots or a coat or wipe paws after a walk.
How do you get into my home?
We’ll talk through home access during your meet & greet. Most pet parents use a lockbox or smart lock, and we keep your access info secure.
Can you walk my dog if I live in an apartment or condo building?
Yes. Whether you live in a house, a townhome or a condo building near downtown Downers Grove, we’ll go over access at your virtual meet & greet: lockboxes, key fobs, elevators and any building pet rules. That way your walker can get in and out smoothly from the very first visit.
Do your walkers take dogs to dog parks?
No, never. For your dog’s safety, we don’t take pups to dog parks, dog beaches or off-leash dog exercise areas. Off-leash spaces bring unfamiliar dogs and unpredictable situations, so every walk stays on leash around your neighborhood.
What hours are your Downers Grove walkers available?
Our Downers Grove walkers and sitters are out from 7am to 9pm, 365 days a year. Our office team is available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Have a question before you get started? Give us a call.
Are your dog walkers insured?
Yes. Out-U-Go! is bonded and insured well above industry standards, and every walker graduates from our own Dog Walk University before caring for your pup.
Do you offer puppy care?
Yes! Puppy visits include potty breaks, playtime and feeding for little ones, tailored to your puppy’s age and routine. Just choose Puppy Care on the form above.
Do you care for cats too?
Yes! Along with dog walking and pet sitting, our Downers Grove team offers in-home cat sitting. Just choose Cat Sitting on the form above and we’ll be in touch.
