What is dog sitting?
While you travel, sitters from your local Out-U-Go! team stop by your home 3 to 4 times a day to walk your pup, serve meals, refresh water and give plenty of love. Your pup stays home, on the routine they know.
How many visits a day will my dog get?
Most pups do best with 3 to 4 visits a day. We’ll plan the number of visits and the times around your pup’s regular schedule. Visits happen between 7am and 9pm.
How much does dog sitting cost?
Dog sitting starts at $35 to $41 a visit, depending on your neighborhood and visit length. Additional pets are $5 a visit. Check availability to see the rates for your address.
Will the same sitter come to every visit?
We aim for as much consistency as possible, but having the same person visit every day during a vacation isn’t always possible. It will always be someone from our team who knows all the ins and outs of your pup’s care routine.
Who can schedule dog sitting?
It depends on your neighborhood. In some areas, dog sitting is only available as an add-on service for dogs we already see regularly for dog walking, because a team that already knows your pup gives the best vacation care. In others, new pet parents are welcome too. If you’re new to Out-U-Go!, reach out about 4 weeks before your trip.
What’s the difference between dog sitting and house sitting?
With dog sitting, a sitter stops by 3 to 4 times a day. With house sitting, a sitter stays overnight in your home. More about house sitting.
Do you take dogs to dog parks?
No. For safety, our walkers and sitters never take dogs to dog parks, dog beaches or dog-friendly areas.
