Our Boulder team has been walking dogs here since 2009. Our walkers know the historic homes of Mapleton Hill and Whittier, the townhome and condo communities across town and the busy bike-path crossings in between, and they plan every walk around them.

Before their first Boulder walk, every walker graduates from Dog Walk University, the training program we built with input from a certified dog behaviorist and more than 30 years of hands-on dog care. Dan, our Top Dog and owner, leads the Boulder team with his pup Poppy and knows the town’s trails, weather and leash rules well.
A TEXT AFTER EVERY WALK
When the walk is done, you get a text with photos of your pup, a GPS map of where they went and a note from your walker. Boulder pet parents mention it in their reviews, right down to the “cute little text message.”

You’ll find our walkers on the Boulder Creek Path, looping North Boulder Park, strolling the quiet streets of Mapleton Hill and taking in Flatirons views near Chautauqua, always on leash. Which Boulder neighborhoods do you serve?
We walk dogs throughout the City of Boulder, including North Boulder, Wonderland Lake, Newlands, Mapleton Hill, Whittier, downtown and Pearl Street, Goss-Grove, East Boulder, University Hill, Chautauqua, Martin Acres, Table Mesa and South Boulder. Denver, Lakewood and Highlands Ranch are covered by our sister team, Out-U-Go! Denver. Send us your address through the quick form and we’ll confirm your street.
How do I get started with dog walking in Boulder?

Will I meet my walker before the first walk?
Yes. After we match your pup with the right walker, they’ll come by for a quick hello before regular walks begin.
How long are walks, and when can they be scheduled?
Choose 25, 35 or 45 minute walks. Midday walks run Monday through Friday between 10am and 4pm, and once you’re on a plan you can also schedule morning, evening and weekend walks.
Will my dog have the same walker every time?
On Weekly Walks, yes: your pup gets a familiar walker at a regular time. Add-On Walks are scheduled as needed, so you may see a few different faces, though we always aim for consistency.
How much does a dog walker cost in Boulder?
Weekly Walks in Boulder start at $25 for a 25-minute visit. Fill out the quick form and we’ll send full rates and plan options for your schedule.
Do you offer dog sitting in Boulder when I travel?
Yes. Dog sitting and house sitting are available year-round as add-ons for pet parents on a Weekly or Add-On walk plan. Since we only care for dogs we already know, allow about 4 weeks after your first walk to set up vacation care, so starting walks early has you ready for your next trip.
Do you offer cat sitting in Boulder?
Not as a standalone service right now. If your dog is on one of our walking plans, we can include cat care in your vacation visits.
How does my walker get into my home?
Most Boulder pet parents use a lockbox or a smart lock, so there’s no key handoff. We’ll pick the best option for your home during your meet & greet.
Do your walkers use Boulder’s off-leash Voice and Sight trails or dog parks?
No, never. For your dog’s safety, every walk stays on leash. We don’t take pups to dog parks or off-leash areas, including Voice and Sight trails, because unfamiliar dogs and unpredictable situations aren’t worth the risk.
How do you handle Boulder weather?
Boulder can see sunshine, wind and snow in the same week. Our walkers adjust every walk for snow, ice, hot pavement and strong sun, and if your pup wears boots, needs a coat or gets a paw wipe after walks, just let us know and we’ll add it to their care notes.
Can you walk my dog if I live in a condo, apartment or townhome?
Absolutely. At your meet & greet we’ll go over everything your walker needs, from gate and garage codes to key fobs, elevators and any HOA or building pet rules, so the very first visit goes smoothly.
What hours are your Boulder walkers available?
Our walkers are out from 7am to 9pm, 365 days a year. Weekly midday walks run Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm. Morning and evening walks are After Hours visits and are priced separately from midday walks. Our office team is available from 9am to 5pm.
Is Out-U-Go! Boulder bonded and insured?
Yes. We’re bonded and insured well above industry standards, and every walker is a graduate of our Dog Walk University training program.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel a dog walk until 3pm on the business day before. Later cancellations are billed in full, since that time was reserved for your pup. Dog sitting and house sitting have different deadlines, which we’ll review when you schedule. If a real emergency comes up, contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
