Rates vary by neighborhood. Midday walks are 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday; early morning, evening and weekend walks are billed at After Hours rates (from $35). Additional pets are $5 per visit. *In some areas, vacation care is reserved for pet parents with a regular dog walking schedule. **Cat sitting is offered by our South Loop, Downers Grove, Naperville and Madison teams.

For pet parents whose schedules change week to week, like working from home some days and in the office others. Dinner plans, a long meeting, a late train or just one of those weeks? Schedule a walk when you need it, and someone from your local team will be there.

Dog Sitting & House Sitting
When you’re away, your pup stays home, comfy in their own bed and eating from their own bowls at their usual times. An Out-U-Go! dog sitter visits to spend quality time with them, serve meals, take them on walks and handle everything else. Choose drop-in dog sitting visits, or an overnight house sitter.

What’s the difference between Weekly Walks and Add-On Walks?
Weekly Walks are three or more midday walks a week on a regular schedule, with a familiar walker and our best per-walk rate. Add-On Walks are scheduled as needed and billed per visit. One or two regular walks a week are billed at the Add-On rate.
How much does dog walking cost?
Each neighborhood sets its own rates. Weekly midday walks start at $24 to $26 per walk, and Add-On walks start at $29. Walk length, time of day and how often your dog walks all affect your rate. Check availability to see the exact rates for your address, or see how our rates work.
Can I schedule just one or two walks a week?
Yes. We’re happy to set up one or two regular walks a week. They’re billed at the Add-On rate for your area.
Do you offer early morning, evening and weekend walks?
Yes. Walkers are out from 7am to 9pm, 365 days a year. Walks outside the 10am to 4pm weekday window are billed at After Hours rates, starting at $35.
What’s the difference between dog sitting and house sitting?
Dog sitting is drop-in visits at your home while you travel, with walks, meals and fresh water. House sitting means a sitter stays overnight in your home and takes care of everything. Many pet parents combine both.
Can I get vacation care if I don’t use your dog walking?
It depends on your area. Some teams offer vacation care to everyone, and others reserve it for pet parents with a regular dog walking schedule. If you’re new to Out-U-Go!, reach out about four weeks before your trip so we have time to get to know your pup.
Do you offer cat sitting?
Yes, our South Loop, Downers Grove, Naperville and Madison teams offer cat sitting. Our Chicago, Oak Park, North Shore, Denver and Boulder teams don’t currently offer standalone cat sitting.
Do you walk puppies?
Yes! Puppies need frequent potty breaks and a steady routine, so we recommend Weekly Walks for puppies under 6 months.
How do I get started?

Is Out-U-Go! bonded and insured?
Yes. We’re bonded and insured well above industry standards, and every walker graduates from Dog Walk University, our own training program.
