Out-U-Go! started in Oak Park in 1996 and came to the North Shore in 2019, bringing the same team and the same way of caring for dogs. Landon and Isabelle from our management team live right here on the North Shore, and walkers like Karyn and Robin care for pups all over Evanston and the nearby towns.
Getting started is easy. Landon, our Head of Hellos, will reach out to set up your virtual meet & greet. Then we’ll match your pup with a walker who knows Evanston and covers it regularly.

Where we walk in Evanston
Our Evanston walkers know the city’s neighborhoods well. You’ll spot them on the lakefront paths near Dawes Park and the Grosse Point Lighthouse, looping James Park and the Ladd Arboretum, cutting across the Northwestern campus, and wrapping up near the shops on Central Street, downtown and along the Main-Dempster Mile. No, never. For your dog’s safety, we don’t take pups to dog parks, dog beaches or other off-leash areas. Every walk stays on leash around your neighborhood.
Can you watch my dog while I travel?
Yes, for Evanston pups on a Weekly or Add-On walking plan. Our team gets to know your dog on regular walks first, so it usually takes about 4 weeks to set up dog sitting or house sitting for a new pet parent.
