What is cat sitting?
While you travel, sitters from your local Out-U-Go! team stop by your home to serve meals, refresh water, scoop the litter box and give your kitty plenty of pets and playtime. Your cat stays home, on the routine they know.
How many visits a day will my cat get?
Most kitties do great with 1 or 2 visits a day. We’ll plan visits around your cat’s mealtimes and routine. Visits happen between 7am and 9pm.
How much does cat sitting cost?
Cat sitting starts at $35 to $41 a visit, depending on your neighborhood and visit length. Additional cats are $5 a visit. Check availability to see the rates for your address.
Can I schedule cat sitting if I don’t have a dog?
In Madison, Downers Grove, Naperville and South Loop, yes, cat-only homes are welcome. In Chicago, Oak Park, North Shore, Denver and Boulder, cat sitting is available for pet parents we already walk with, not as a standalone service for new pet parents.
Will the same sitter come to every visit?
We aim for as much consistency as possible, but having the same person visit every day during a vacation isn’t always possible. It will always be someone from our team who knows all the ins and outs of your kitty’s care routine.
What if my cat is shy?
No problem. Shy or social, we go at your kitty’s pace. Some cats come say hello right away and some prefer to watch from under the bed, and that’s okay with us.
