We walk dogs from the West Loop, Fulton Market and the Near West Side north through River North, Streeterville, the Gold Coast, Old Town, Lincoln Park and Lakeview, and out through West Town, Wicker Park, Bucktown, Humboldt Park and Logan Square, all the way up to Rogers Park at the Evanston border. You’ll spot our walkers on The 606, along the lakefront paths in Lincoln Park, around Wicker Park’s namesake park, down the Logan Square boulevards and along Clark Street in Andersonville. Neighborhoods south of I-290, from Little Italy to Hyde Park, are covered by our sister team, Out-U-Go! South Loop, and Evanston pups have our North Shore team.

Which Chicago neighborhoods do you serve?
We cover the city from just north of the Loop and the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) up to Rogers Park at the Evanston border, including the West Loop, Fulton Market, West Town, Wicker Park, Bucktown, Humboldt Park, Logan Square, River North, Streeterville, the Gold Coast, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, North Center, Lincoln Square, Uptown, Andersonville and Edgewater. Neighborhoods south of I-290, from Little Italy to Hyde Park, are covered by our sister team, Out-U-Go! South Loop. The Loop itself isn’t covered by either team. Send us your address through the quick form and we’ll confirm your street.
How do I sign up for dog walking in Chicago?
Start with the quick form at the top of the page. Landon or someone else from our Chicago team will be in touch to schedule a brief virtual meet & greet and recommend the walking plan that matches your week.
Will I meet my walker before the first walk?
Yes. Once we’ve picked the right walker for your pup, they’ll stop by for a quick hello before walks begin.
What walk lengths and times are available?
Weekly Walks come in 25, 35 and 45 minute lengths. Midday walks run Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm, and pups on a plan can also schedule morning, evening and weekend walks.
Does my dog get the same walker each time?
With Weekly Walks, yes: your pup is matched with a familiar walker at a regular time. Add-On Walks are scheduled as needed, so a few different walkers may visit, though we work hard to keep it consistent.
How much does dog walking cost in Chicago?
Chicago Weekly Walks start at $26 per 25-minute visit. Fill out the form and we’ll send the full rates and plan options for your schedule.
Can you watch my dog while I travel?
Yes. Dog sitting and house sitting are available 365 days a year as add-ons for pet parents on a Weekly or Add-On walk plan. Because we only care for dogs we already know, plan on about 4 weeks after your first walk to set up vacation care, so starting walks early gets you ready for your next trip.
Do you offer cat sitting in Chicago?
Not as a standalone service right now. If your dog is on one of our walking plans, we can add cat care to your vacation visits.
How will my walker get into my home?
Most Chicago pet parents use a lockbox or a smart lock, so there are no keys to hand off. We’ll figure out the best option for your home at your meet & greet.
Can you walk my dog if I live in a high-rise or condo building?
Yes. Whether you live in a high-rise, a condo building, a three-flat or a single-family home, we’ll go over building access at your meet & greet: front desk or doorman instructions, key fobs, elevators, package rooms and any building pet rules. That way your walker can get in and out smoothly from the very first visit.
How do you keep my dog safe on icy, salted Chicago sidewalks?
Chicago winters bring ice and road salt to every block. Our walkers adjust each walk for the weather, and if your pup wears boots, needs a coat or gets a paw wipe after walks, just tell us and we’ll add it to their care notes.
Do your walkers take dogs to dog parks?
No, never. For your dog’s safety, we don’t take pups to dog parks, dog beaches or the city’s dog-friendly areas (DFAs). Off-leash spaces bring unfamiliar dogs and unpredictable situations, so every walk stays on leash around your neighborhood.
What hours are your Chicago walkers available?
Our walkers are out from 7am to 9pm, 365 days a year. Weekly midday walks run Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm. Morning and evening walks are available as After Hours visits, which are priced separately from midday walks. Our office team is available from 9am to 5pm.
Is Out-U-Go! bonded and insured?
Yes. We carry bonding and insurance well above industry standards, and every walker has completed our Dog Walk University training.
What if I need to cancel a walk?
You can cancel a dog walk until 3pm on the business day before. Later cancellations are billed in full, because that time was set aside for your pup. Dog sitting and house sitting deadlines are different, and we’ll go over them when you schedule. Facing a real emergency? Get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
