How do I schedule a visit?

From there, we’ll match your pup with the right walker and get your visits on the calendar.
Can I meet my dog walker beforehand?
In most cases, yes. After a quick virtual meet & greet with our South Loop team, we’ll match your pup with a walker who fits their personality and routine, and they’ll usually stop by to meet your dog before the first walk. After every visit you’ll get photos and a note, too.
How long are walks?
We offer 25, 35 and 45 minute walks. You can choose whatever feels best for you and your pups.
Will my dog have the same walker every time?
Consistency is a big part of helping pups build a great bond with their regular walker, and that’s always what we aim for. But life happens. People get sick and things come up. That’s exactly why we work as a team: if your pup’s primary walker isn’t available, another teammate who knows your routine can step in.
How much does a dog walker cost in the South Loop?
Weekly dog walks in the South Loop start at $25 per visit. Your rate depends on walk length and how often you’d like visits. Fill out the short form above and we’ll send full rates and availability.
Do you walk dogs in the winter?
Yes! Our South Loop dog walkers are out year-round, through snowy Chicago-area winters and hot summers. We keep an eye on the weather and adjust each visit to keep your pup safe and comfortable, and we’re happy to put on boots or a coat or wipe paws after a walk.
How do you get into my home?
We’ll talk through home access during your meet & greet. Most pet parents use a lockbox or smart lock, and we keep your access info secure.
Can you walk my dog if I live in an apartment or condo building?
Yes. Whether you live in a high-rise near the lakefront, a Pilsen two-flat or a Hyde Park courtyard building, we’ll go over building access at your virtual meet & greet: front desk instructions, key fobs, elevators and any building pet rules. That way your walker can get in and out smoothly from the very first visit.
Do your walkers take dogs to dog parks?
No, never. For your dog’s safety, we don’t take pups to dog parks, dog beaches or off-leash dog exercise areas. Off-leash spaces bring unfamiliar dogs and unpredictable situations, so every walk stays on leash around your neighborhood.
What hours are your South Loop walkers available?
Our South Loop walkers and sitters are out from 7am to 9pm, 365 days a year. Our office team is available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Have a question before you get started? Give us a call.
Are your dog walkers insured?
Yes. Out-U-Go! is bonded and insured well above industry standards, and every walker graduates from our own Dog Walk University before caring for your pup.
Do you offer puppy care?
Yes! Puppy visits include potty breaks, playtime and feeding for little ones, tailored to your puppy’s age and routine. Just choose Puppy Care on the form above.
Do you care for cats too?
