Top Dog – Rachel Krause

Growing up on our family’s hobby farm in DeForest, WI, animals were a huge part of my everyday life. We had dogs, cats, horses, a hamster, a parrot, a parakeet, chicks, and even a sassy goat! My love for animals continued into my education – I graduated from UW Madison in 2012 with a degree in Zoology and Conservation. Now, my household is filled with two 16-year-old cats, two small humans, one adult partner, and a rosy boa named Serafina Wilamena Snakespeare.

Since we first opened in 2012, we have provided over 175,000 visits and have a large group of enthusiastic pet sitters who provide lots of personal attention, love, and care to your doggos and cats. Our local team is led by our Canine Concierge extraordinaire, Mei, who is our number one kitty whisperer!

Both Mei and I are always happy to chat with pet parents about their pups and kitties joining the Out-U-Go! family.

Canine Concierge – Mei Lackey

I started working at Out-U-Go! in 2017 as a pet sitter and became a member of the office staff in 2019. As Canine Concierge, I get to communicate with our pet parents AND take care of all the wonderful pets!

Before working at Out-U-Go!, I studied classical double bass and have a degree in performance. My two passions have always been music and animals and I am so grateful to have made one of my passions into a career!

I grew up with cats and dogs, and currently live with my two hilarious cats in downtown Madison.
