What will I receive as part of the Out-U-Go! franchise system?

You get us. . . Pretty sweet, huh? We’ve been doing this since 1996 and know this business from nose to tail. Being part of the Out-U-Go! family means we’ll share our knowledge, expertise, and cookies with you. You’ll also get furloads of other good stuff.

  • Seven days of training at Out-U-Go! Central with our top tier Top Dogs. This state-of-the-woof training covers Out-U-Go! systems and software, and includes certification from Dog Walk University (SM).
  • Two days start-up assistance at your location.
  • Our awesome Operations Manual.
  • Use of our operational tools and techniques.
  • The right to use our trademarks and logo.

What is the investment range for the Out-U-Go! franchise?

The estimated required investment ranges between $39,922 - $69,845. This includes the initial franchise fee of $20,000 - $30,000, grand opening marketing, signage and identity, leasehold improvements, furniture and fixtures, equipment, initial inventory, training expenses, and working capital. As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.

What are the ongoing fees paid to the franchisor?

Franchisees will pay a royalty of 6% of gross revenues. These fees are for ongoing support services and the continued development of new products, procedures, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.

What are the advertising fees?

Franchisees will be pay 1% of gross revenues toward a system marketing fund. This fund is used to develop marketing strategies, create fun and cutting edge marketing materials, promote the Out-U-Go! name and brand, and generally spread the gospel of Out-U-Go!.

Is financing available?

We don’t provide financing but we can provide references to qualified lending agencies on a case-by-case basis.

What is the term of the franchise agreement?

The initial term of your Out-U-Go! franchise agreement is ten years, with two subsequent five-year renewal terms.

What training will I receive?

You’ll receive 7 days of training at Out-U-Go! Central with our top tier Top Dogs. This training includes complete training on the Out-U-Go! systems and software, and certification from Dog Walk University (SM). At the conclusion of training, assuming you’ve received two paws up from our DWU professors, you'll be a certified Out-U-Go! Top Dog.

Do I need prior experience in the pet industry?

Background in the pet care industry experience is a plus, but certainly not a requirement. We'll provide all the training you'll need to be your own Top Dog. We do seek upbeat and energetic franchisees that have strong management and customer service skills, as well as a burning desire spend their professional lives covered in hair and slobber.

What’s the process for becoming part of the Out-U-Go! family?

First, let’s get in touch. Call us at 877-268-8846 or shoot us an email requesting our franchise brochure. Once you know more about Out-U-Go! and have decided it might be right for you, you’ll complete the CIRF—the fancy form with all your kitty-gritty details. Then we’ll contact you to discuss the setting up a Meet & Greet at the Out-U-Go! Central where you’ll meet our top tier Top Dogs. At that meeting, you’ll also receive our FDD, which contains all the important (and legal) details to help you make an informed decision. As you can see, becoming and Out-U-Go! franchisee is a long process. That’s because it’s a very important decision.
