We get a little carried away at Out-U-Go! Denver we walkers of dogs, we strokers of cats, we rubbers of bellies, we scratchers of ears, we danglers of dangly kitty toys, we scoopers of litter, we mongers of poop bags, we sitters of pets, we givers of treats, we pullers of leashes, we wipers of paws, we throwers of tennis balls, we writers of report cards, we carers of pets, we placers of pills in the back of the mouths of sharp-toothed kitties, we connoisseurs of doggy dumps, we fillers of water bowls, we replacers of kibble, we lovers of sog-slobber foam-filled flappy-lip dog kisses.

It wasn’t so long ago that President Obama and his family adopted their new furry friend, a Portuguese water dog named “Bo.” Mr. Obama welcomed Bo to the White House with a pat on the head, a steak bone, and, of course, a huge bailout check. Bo plans to spend his newfound billions of dollars on bacon-flavored bacon, a peanut-butter filled former President Bush chew toy, and, thoughtfully, new doggy pillows for the White House Press Corps. Bo has happily taken over Vice President Biden’s duties as paper-fetcher and couch eater and reportedly can’t wait to pee on a foreign dignitary.

Would you believe that an Out-U-Go! Denver dog walker was married in a floor-length dress made entirely of Scotch tape and poop bags ?

Would you believe that ten of the treats handed out by the dog walkers of  Out-U-Go! Denver  have the same amount of calories as just one Yoplait dog yogurt?

Would you believe that an average Out-U-Go! Denver pet sitter can do 75 one-handed push-ups with a poodle on her back in under five minutes?

Would you believe that dogs taken care of by Out-U-Go! st1:city w:st="on">Denver are 50% less likely to develop a taste for sofa meat?

Would you believe that in Denver the kitties are kittier after a cat sitting visit from an Out-U-Go! Denver cat sitter? 

Would you believe that “Double Stuff” is not a reference to Oreo cookies when on a walk with a dyspeptic Mastiff?

Would you believe that two hundred poop bags are worth a Honda and a steak dinner on the Denver dog walker black market?

The Out-U-Go! Chicago office hosted a meet and greet events for local pet parents and businesses of Wicker Park and Bucktown. Everyone had a great time. There were very generous food and drink donations made by Olivia's and Wing Stop. We had lots of fun talking about dog walking and pet sitting in Chicago and specifically in Wicker Park and Bucktown. Can't wait to host our next event with the Wicker Park Chamber!

Well...those are obviously legit questions.


What is a Tweet-Up?
To start with the Tweet-Up, a Tweet-Up is a meet up organized in Twitter to connect Twitter followers with each other in person. It a chance to make the world of social virtual media into social reality.


Who goes to a Tweet-Up?
Twitter friends and followers. People who are interested in one another for personal, social, and business reasons.


What does a Tweet-Up have to do with dog walking in Chicago?
Twitter has provided Out-U-Go! with a great method to be able to keep in touch with our friends, fans, and pet parents through microblogging. The Tweet-Up was a great opportunity for some of the Out-U-Go! folks to engage in the reality world with and discuss some of the advantages of Chicago pet sitting and Chicago dog walking with some local Chicago pet parents and business owners in a laid back social atmosphere.


Overall the Chicago Dog Walking Tweet-Up was a lot of fun and had a great turn out! We are looking forward to more pet sitting tweet-ups in Chicago, Denver, and Evanston.

Cake can leave a sticky residue, and clots behind the ears, but it does lend a sweet aroma, and others may think it’s your birthday and treat you accordingly. Keep in mind that everyone has specific chemistry, and even if chocolate cake is your favorite, it may not compliment your scent. You may be more of a spice cake person. This may seem overly particular, but learn from Dog. Dog is very choosey about which stink he rolls in.

Dump out your piggy bank on the floor. Loose change offers a coppery, metallic scent to those who anticipate a need for toughness and rigidity. Going into a tough meeting? Want to smell like the Terminator? Loose change is probably the scent for you. This is also an option if you are dating a robot.

Smell like your favorite sport. Soccer, baseball, hockey. Scents can be layered, so find several places inside the stadium or arena in which to roll. Come away smelling of grass and the wind and peanut shells and hot dogs and spilled beer and sunscreen and facepaint. This scent will present you as the avid sports fan you are, and can be especially erotic when one wears nothing but a scorecard.

Try rolling in your favorite city. Living in cities like Denver and Chicago, there is probably already a hint of pollution about you. Start in the parking garages and work your way up to the clubs and then the club patrons and then the boutiques and then the coffee shops and then the homeless and then the parks and then the public transportation system. Make up combinations of your own. Dog will be proud.

The National Canine Cancer Foundation is a wonderful organization dedicated to saving lives, finding cures, finding better treatmeants, and diminishing dogs’ suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service.

From under the desk. Today was a great day to be a dog for Lucy and Stanley in the Out-U-Go! Oak Park, Illinois office. Both pups, hounds in general nature, enjoyed a long day of working, playing, and cookie-ing. With plenty of pet sitter friends around today there was no shortage of dog treats. And despite the crummy weather they both enjoyed their afternoon dog walks...though Stanley did a little less sniffing than usual.
